Mr Kunmi Fasanmade is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and registered as a Specialist in Oral Surgery with the General Dental Council. His main clinical practice is centered around his special interest areas of Head and Neck Oncology, Salivary Gland Surgery, and Facial Trauma, and he has extensive experience in minor oral surgery procedures, such as removal of wisdom teeth and exposing impacted teeth. In addition, Kunmi is very experienced in carrying out bone and soft tissue grafting procedures as part of dental implant treatment, and works closely with our team of Specialists, ensuring a multi-disciplinary approach to your care.

Following the completion of his dental degree, Kunmi completed his medical training in 2002 at Guys, Kings and St Thomas' Hospitals. He subsequently undertook the five year specialist surgical training with the South West deanery based at University of Bristol Hospitals Trust, Frenchay Hospital Bristol and Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

During this time he gained extensive experience and a keen interest in head and neck oncology and the management of facial trauma. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is registered with the General Dental Council. He is also a Fellow of the European Association of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery; a member of the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists (BAHNO); Member of the British Medical Association and is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council.

Kunmi has published papers on a wide range of topics and has presented at scientific and clinical meetings, nationally and internationally.
