Vinit is recognised as a specialist in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics by the General Dental Council. Vinit graduated with honours from the Guy's, King's & St Thomas' Dental Institute, King's College London. Following graduation Vinit undertook 3 years of hospital based further training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Restorative Dentistry. Vinit also gained experience in sedation and special care treating anxious and medically compromised patients.
Vinit subsequently completed 4 additional years of specialist training in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute. Vinit has extensive experience in all aspects of restorative dentistry and main clinical interests include management of failing crown and bridgework, rehabilitation of patients with dental implants, removable dentures and aesthetic dentistry. He also accepts referrals from other dentists for complex restorative and implant dentistry, including bone grafting procedures.
Vinit works part-time as a Clinical Teaching Fellow in the department of Prosthodontics at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute where he is involved in teaching post-graduate dentists and pursuing ongoing research interests. He is an examiner for the Overseas Registration Examination and UCL Diploma in Implant Dentistry. Vinit is also co-director of the International Team for Implantology Study Club in Oxford and lectures on restorative and implant dentistry at local, national and international level.
