Kajal graduated from Guy’s, King’s & St. Thomas’ Dental Institute, King’s College London with honours. Following graduation, Kajal worked in general practice and held a part-time clinical teaching post at King’s College Dental Institute within the Restorative Dentistry department.
Kajal was subsequently awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties from The Royal College of Surgeons of England. During her time at the hospital, Kajal cemented her love for endodontics (root canal treatment). She decided to go on to do a period of further study, namely an MSc in Endodontic Practice from the Queen Mary University of London, which she completed with a Distinction.
Since having children, Kajal works part time and has limited her clinical practice to Endodontics at One the Gallery. Kajal enjoys teaching and is also a visiting lecturer at the Queen Mary University of London where she teaches post-graduate MSc students.
Kajal keeps abreast with the latest developments and is an active member of the British Endodontic Society. Recently Kajal was accepted and invited to present a poster at the Spring Scientific Meeting of the British Endodontic Society. Kajal’s research interests lie in the outcomes of Endodontic Treatment and the use of Cone Beam Computed Tomography to assess the risk of endodontic treatment. Kajal is currently working on publishing the findings of her research.
